We are proud of the results for this kitchen renovation in Sinking Spring, PA. We transformed the space with modern details while also increasing the homeowner's storage. Here’s a look at the comprehensive work that went into this project!
Demolition
We started by disconnecting the plumbing and removing the old kitchen cabinets and countertops. The tile backsplash and floor were taken out, along with the baseboard trim in both the kitchen and living room. We also removed the wall separating the kitchen from the dining room to maximize the area's efficiency.
General Construction
To create an open and inviting space, we removed the pocket door and expanded the opening by installing a new header. The kitchen ceiling, walls, and living room ceiling were patched and painted for a fresh look. New cabinets were installed according to the new layout, complete with fillers and trim pieces. We templated and installed new quartz countertops with an under-mount sink, followed by 3x12 polished subway tiles all throughout.
For the flooring, we prepped and installed LVP in both the kitchen and living room. New baseboard trim was added to enhance the overall aesthetics.
Electrical
Our electrical work focused on enhancing the lighting and functionality of the space. We removed the old kitchen light and installed recessed LED lights. The existing light over the sink was replaced with a new pendant light. We also installed a pendant light over the island. This was something that the homeowner enjoyed: picking out light fixtures. We love when our client's want to be involved with their space.
We added six outlets above the counters throughout the entire kitchen, and one in the island, ensuring ample power supply for appliances. Under-cabinet LED lights were installed, controlled by two separate switches for convenience. Finally, all electrical connections were completed to ensure everything was fully operational.
Plumbing
The plumbing work included installing a new dishwasher. We also installed a new sink faucet and ensured all final connections were secure and leak-free. We never walk away from a leaky kitchen. Homeowners are guaranteed a true finished product in the end.
